GRASS FED MULE:
Grass Fed Mule is a St. Louis based quartet composed of Gerard Erker, Drew Jameson, Matt Flory & Drew Lance. Drawing energy from their river town roots in bluegrass, old-time, blues, indie-folk & jazz, the band’s upbeat shows flood the ears with strong vocal harmonies and instrumental finesse, featuring sounds of claw hammer banjo, harmonica, mandolin & washboard. If you like the sound of bluegrass in a jam, Grass Fed Mule should be sweet to your ears. Established in 2015, Grass Fed Mule has hit the ground running, playing festivals, touring the midwest & Colorado, and releasing their debut album “Hay Is For Horses”. While the core of the band is a quartet, don’t be surprised if they special guest sit-ins of the most prolific pickers around — GFM has shared the stage with members of Yonder Mountain String Band, Old Salt Union, ClusterPluck, River Bend and many more.
Cornmeal has never been a band to shy away from reinvention and after over a decade, theyare proving just that as the band sets out with a newly reformed lineup, a fresh energeticsound and heads back into the studio to finish their long awaited first studio album afteralmost 6 years. A nationally recognized live music institution, Cornmeal is heavily influencedby American roots and folk music and seamlessly blends lightning fast tempos andimpeccable harmonies into an unrivaled live performance that continues to expand uponthe ve-piece acoustic-electric groups’ vast musical repertoire. While steeped in the traditionof the past, Cornmeal continues to forge a path all their own, pushing the boundaries ofbluegrass, Americana and folk for a whole new generation of music lovers. With a growingfan base and ever-evolving sound, Cornmeal challenges the recipe of bluegrass and liveperformance.
